who am I
I’m an Essex-born theatre producer passionate about championing marginalised voices, especially disabled and queer artists. I create accessible, inclusive spaces for artists, participants and audiences, working across live art, contemporary theatre and beyond - if the story is urgent, I’m in.
With over a decade’s experience, I’ve developed skills in fundraising, mentoring, access, touring and partnerships. Highlights include producing Jamal Harewood’s The Privileged (national and international tours), Scottee & Friends (2017-2020) and leading Blown Fuse’s In Her Shoes - a touring project amplifying forgotten Essex women’s stories.
As Engagement Producer for Start Thurrock, I worked with underrepresented communities, programming my first festival and boosting local participation by 40%. I’ve also delivered producing workshops, written successful funding bids, mentored emerging talent, and became Level 2 Certified in Autism Awareness.
Currently, I’m producing multiple projects and am launching House of Carney. See my PRODUCING Page to learn more.
If you’re looking for a producer committed to authentic, people-centred work that puts marginalised stories front and centre, I’d love to hear from you.
